April Howze is a Certified Public Accountant who joined the College of Business in September 2012. April has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management. She has more than 14 years of accounting and auditing experience to include 7 years at Georgia Tech and 3 years as a Board of Regents Auditor.

April directs and manages the financial procedures and policies for the College of Business and is responsible for development, preparation, and management of the budget. She oversees all financial management for the College, ensuring that financial targets and standards are met, financial records are accurately maintained, and the required financial and management reports are generated.

She interacts and negotiates with Institute, Georgia Tech Foundation, and College of Management administration, vendors, sponsors, and government agencies on operational matters related to the financial support functions.
