As Facilities Manager I, Laura provides support for managing the use and maintenance of the College of Management building.  She identifies, reports, and tracks maintenance and usage issues in the College and works closely with GT Facilities and Building Services in order to ensure that the building operates and is maintained at the highest level. She provides guidance to GT departments, student organizations, and outside groups for event scheduling and logistics.   Additionally, she controls and manages access using electronic and key systems and assists with construction projects.

Laura has six years of experience in the construction industry in project management, preconstruction, and estimating.  She has also served as a Special Events & Volunteer Manager for Special Olympics Georgia.  Laura earned a BBA in Management from the University of Georgia.  She is also an alumna of Georgia Tech, having earned her Master’s Degree in Building Construction and Facility Management.
