Vincenzo Palermo joined the PHD program in Strategic Management in 2008. His research interests focuses on management of innovation and intellectual property rights. In particular, he has focused on the impact of licensing agreements and R&D investments on innovative performance in the context of the pharmaceutical industry.
Before enrolling in the PHD program, he worked as research assistant at Bocconi University under the supervision of Prof. Franco Malerba, Prof. Luigi Orsenigo and Prof. Stefano Brusoni. He also worked as teaching assistant for both undergraduate (Microeconomics and Management of Innovation) and graduate (Social network analysis) classes
Vincenzo obtained a MSc and a BA in Economics and Management of Innovation and technology from Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) respectively in 2007 and 2005. He was also an exchange student for a semester at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (TU/e) in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
