Associate Professor Deborah Turner is professionally qualified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Georgia and spent four years as an accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers before joining the College as an Assistant Professor in 1985. Her teaching interests include financial reporting, managerial accounting, and federal taxation.
Dr. Turner's published work has appeared in Accounting Horizons, Management Accounting, Business, Advances in Taxation, Journal of Applied Business Research, and many others. She is affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, American Accounting Association, American Woman's Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Financial Executives Institute.
