Barry Marchman has been teaching finance classes at Georgia Tech's since the fall of 2007.  His research interests include investments, corporate, and personal finance. 

Prior to his academic career, Dr. Marchman worked as an electrical engineer in the telecommunications field specializing in RF networks, microwave radio, and fiber optics.  Dr. Marchman also has experience working in the power generation and distribution field.
