Dr. Wenxin Guo joined the College of Business as a visiting assistant professor in 2014. Her research focuses on the phenomenon of outward cross-border mergers and acquisitions by emerging-market multinationals. She examines firms’ productivity change and innovative performance via cross-border merger and acquisition activities and how corporate ownership and governance relate to these activities. She also studies firm’s international patenting activities and knowledge transfer.
She received State Farm fellowship and Ph.D. Dissertation award in Department of Business Administration at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is the finalist of "Frontiers of International Management: Douglas Nigh Award" at Academy of Management Conference 2014. She has published papers in Management International Review and Enterprise and Society.
